Kathmandu University School of Management invites applications for admission to the Spring 2014 Batch.
The KUSOM MBA program is an intensive two-year course spread over six terms of full time study. In the first year, students complete three terms, each lasting 14 weeks involving intensive class-room study and practical business projects. In the second year, they complete three terms with options of pursuing a specialization stream in one term, students undertake a comprehensive business project and work as management interns in organizations for hands-on experience of management in real time and complete a major business research project.
Nepali and non-Nepali nationals with a Bachelor's Degree of at least three years duration or equivalent degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50 percent in aggregate or 2.5 CGPA on a scale of 4 from the universities recognized by Kathmandu University.
Note: An undergraduate student who has completed the qualifying educational level but is awaiting the final results may apply on the provisional basiS, provided he/she has already taken the last semester or final annual examination of the program and passed all previous year/semester papers with required minimum percent.
Applicants should appear for KUMAT (Kathmandu University Management Admission Test) on Tuesday, 24th December, 2013. Successful applicants will be called for personal interview and other assessment measures.
Financial Aid is available for a few needy and deserving students.
The last date for the submission of completed Application Form is Thursday, 18 December, 2013

Total MBA package is 365,000
> RS 6,000 is to be added as caution money that will be returned after completion of the program.
> The amount is payable in 12 Installments
> For Students from SAARC countries, one and half times of the normal fee;
> For students from other countries, double the normal fee.
> These expenses do not include cost of books and stationary , accommodation, or any other personal expenses.
> The fees charged by the School are subject to change without prior notification.

Upon submission of the completed application form with two letters of recommendations, transcripts of previous degrees, and the payment of admission test, the Admission Committee administers the admission process.
Selection of the candidates is based on:
> Scores on the KUSOM Management Admission Test (verbal and quantitative reasoning, data interpretation, and proficiency in English language),written English test, group discussion, and personal interview; and
> Merit of academic attainments up to the undergraduate level
