International Cultural Service Program (ICSP) Tuition Scholarships
The ICSP scholarship awards 30–40 competitive scholarships to international students each year. Scholarships apply to tuition only and range from $7,500–$30,000 per year. The ICSP scholarship has a cultural service component that requires students to give presentations about their home country to children, community organizations, and UO students, faculty, and staff. ICSP scholarships are based on financial need, academic merit, and the ability to make presentations to diverse groups of people. ICSP scholarships are renewable. To apply, complete the ICSP application before January 15.

International Dean’s Excellence Award (IDEA) for New International Students

The scholarship is valued at $6,000–$8,000 each and is renewable based on academic performance.

New freshmen applicants entering in the fall (September) who have completed the full International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma will automatically receive the full award amount of the IDEA scholarship.

Summit and Apex Scholarships
The Summit and Apex Scholarships are merit-based awards based on high school grade point average and SAT or ACT scores. The Summit provides $9,000 per year to international students, and the Apex provides $4,000. Both are renewable up to four years. Students who receive these awards can compete for on-campus work-study jobs during the academic year. Students are not guaranteed on-campus jobs, but opportunities for on-campus employment will increase.

Helen and Barney Wood Nepalese Student Scholarship:
Established by Dr. Wood, a former UO professor of education, one scholarship of approximately $4,000 may be awarded each academic year to a student from Nepal. New and continuing students from Nepal may apply. Students must also be awarded a tuition remission scholarship from UO to qualify.

Nepali Student Scholarship:
This scholarship awards a maximum of $30,000 in tuition annually to one top student from Nepal. Scholarships apply to tuition only and are automatically renewed annually up to the completion of one degree, subject to the scholarship terms and conditions.
