Bachelor of Science in Nursing is a four years course, which aims to produce competent nurses in different specialties of nursing services. It prepares the nurses who can use independent judgement, decision making process in leadership position for the purpose of quality health care in primary, secondary and tertiary level.
Objectives
1. To demonstrate competency in the skills and techniques of nursing based on concept and principle of nursing.
2. To develop the knowledge and skills in laboratory work on applied health sciences and their application.
3. To apply the principles and concept of nursing theories and models in providing paediatric, psychiatric, geriatric and obstetrical nursing services.
4. To prepare nursing professionals to be able to perform evidence based nursing and educational practice by critical analysis of problems in different situation.
5. To demonstrate the leadership role in different aspects of the professional fields.
6. To develop skills in designing, analyzing and evaluating applied health science research and management.
7. To develop the extra-curricular competencies through training, seminar and exposure.
