player in the following position :
Project Officer (Civil Engineer) – Makwanpur Livelihoods Recovery Project
"Applicable for Nepali Nationals Only"
> Level: D2
> Duration: Fixed term contract until March 2018
> Location: Kathmandu with 75% field visits in project districts
Job Role:
> Under the direct supervision of the MLRP Project Coordinator, the post holder will support partner team to plan, implement and monitor construction works (water system, irrigation system and other constructions works) under Makwanpur Livelihoods Recovery Project ensuring quality of interventions and community participation/ownership.
> S/he will be responsible for taking a lead on designing, organizing and facilitating technical training for the staff of the partner and community members.
> S/he will also require preparing analytical periodic reports.
Desired Skills and Competencies:
> Bachelor in Civil Engineering with one year experience or Diploma in Civil Engineering with three years experience in water system & irrigation system construction and other civil engineering works.
