CTEVT revises the Eligibility Criteria for PCL and Diploma level programs

Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Controlling Office of Examination Sanothimi, Bhaktapur information regarding the revision of admission eligibility for diploma and certificate level in the academic session 2079/080
A) Diploma and certificate level:

(a) In the case of the entrance examination before the implementation of the alphabetic system:

For Certificate-level Nursing Programs:

Required Minimum Educational Qualification:
Passed in SLC or equivalent examination with compulsory mathematics, English and science subjects from a recognized educational institution or at least 2nd class or obtained 45% marks in total marks. OR
having passed SLC, and passed from CTEVT with 68.33 percent marks in the total marks of TSLC related to the program conducted as per this.

For all programs other than Certificate-Level Nursing


Required Minimum Educational Qualification:
Passed SLC or equivalent examination with compulsory Mathematics, English and Science subjects from a recognized educational institution. Or have passed with 68.33 percent marks in the total marks of the respective TSLC from the council.

(b) In the case of those who have studied the alphabetic system:

For health programs:

Minimum Educational Qualification Required:
Pass from a recognized educational institution or S.E.E. Passed in the examination by taking compulsory English, Mathematics and Science subjects with a minimum graded grade of 4.0 with 2.0 CGPA or equivalent or 68.33 percent marks in the total marks of the relevant TSLC from the council.


For all programs other than health:

Required Minimum Educational Qualification:

1.6 CGPA or equivalent with a minimum graded overall grade of 4.0 in compulsory English, Mathematics, and Science subject in SEE examination from a recognized educational institution; Or having obtained 68.33 percent marks in the total marks of TSLC related to the program conducted by the council and passed.
