Tribhuvan University, Institute of Engineering, Entrance examination
Board has published Syllabus of BE/B.Arch. Entrance Examination 2083., for
admission to Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Architecture
(B.Arch) programs in Tribhuvan University's constituent (like Pulchowk or
Thapathali) or affiliated colleges in Nepal. There are 5 constituent campuses and 10 affiliated colleges operating under the Institute of Engineering (IOE), Tribhuvan University.
The Constituent Campuses under TU IOE are Pulchowk Campus, Pulchowk, Lalitpur; Thapathali Campus, Thapathali, Kathmandul; Purbanchal Campus, Dharan; Paschimanchal Campus, Pokhara, and Chitwan Engineering Campus, Rampur, Chitwan. The ten affiliated colleges under TU IOE are Kantipur Engineering College, Lalitpur; Kathmandu Engineering College, Kathmandu; Himalaya College of Engineering, Lalitpur; Advanced College of Engineering and Management, Kathmandu; National College of Engineering, Lalitpur; Kathford International College of Engineering and Management, Lalitpur; Janakpur Engineering College, Bhaktapur; Khwopa College of Engineering, Bhaktapur; Sagarmatha Engineering College, Lalitpur, and Lalitpur Engineering College, Lalitpur.
As per the Syllabus
of B.E./B.Arch. Entrance Examination-2083, the exam covers four subjects:
Mathematics (40 marks), Physics (30 marks), Chemistry (20 marks), and English
(10 marks), for a total of 100 marks, with each question carrying 1 mark. This

The Tribhuvan
University, Institute of Engineering (IOE) Entrance Exam is a Computer-Based
Test (CBT) consisting entirely of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
