Vacancy announcement from Prime Commercial Bank

Prime Commercial Bank Ltd. was incorporated in September 2007 as the 21st commercial bank in Nepal. We are a Category ‘A’ Financial Institution registered under the “Banks and Financial Institutions Act” of Nepal. It has been established by prominent business personnel and professionals from diversified areas with a prime objective of providing 'Banking Services to Everyone' in the country where still large number of population are deprived of Banking Services.

1. MANAGER LEVEL (a number of positions - Assistant Manager to Manager Level)
Required Experience and Qualification:
A minimum of 7 years of relevant and progressive work experience in commercial bank with an array of experience in various banking fields like Credit, Project Financing, Recovery, Marketing, Research and Development, Compliance and Risk Management. Candidates should also have sound working knowledge of Central Bank Directives and Circulars. Candidates applying for the position must have minimum Bachelors Degree in business related field from recognized university.

2. BRANCH MANAGER (a number of positions for Inside and Outside Kathmandu Valley Branches)
Required Experience and Qualification:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant and progressive work experience in financial institutions with focus in Credit, Marketing, Operations, Trade Finance and Branch Management. Candidate must have ability to manage in a geographically and culturally dispersed environment and be responsible for business growth of branch office maintaining excellent customer service standards. Candidates with previous work experience as Branch Manager / Assistant Branch Manager in financial institutions inside and / or outside Kathmandu Valley shall be preferred. Candidates should also have sound working knowledge of Central Bank Directives and Circulars. Candidates applying for the position must have minimum Bachelors Degree in business related field from recognized university.

3. OFFICER LEVEL (a number of positions for Inside and Outside Kathmandu Valley Branches – Junior Officer to Senior Officer Level)
Required Experience and Qualification:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant and progressive work experience in financial institutions with focus in various banking fields like Credit, Project Financing, Recovery, Treasury, Trade Finance, Marketing, Research and Development, Compliance and Risk Management. Candidates should also have sound working knowledge of Central Bank Directives and Circulars. Candidates applying for the position must have minimum Bachelors Degree in business related field from recognized university.

4. INTERNAL AUDIT (a number of positions)
Required Experience and Qualification:
CA/ACCA with a minimum of 2 years of post qualification experience or MBA or equivalent degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant and progressive work experience in audit. The candidate must possess knowledge of Central Bank Directives, BAFIA, Company Act 2063, Income Tax Act 2058, NAS/IAS/NFRS, Risk Based Internal Audit, AML Guidelines and other relevant banking rules and regulations.

5. Management Trainee (a number of positions for Inside and Outside Kathmandu Valley Branches)
Required Experience and Qualification:
Masters degree in business related field from recognized university securing at least 60% marks or 3.25 CGPA out of 4 with fluency in Nepali and English (oral and written). Age of the applicant should not have crossed 30 years as on 16th June 2017.

6. GOLD LOAN SUPERVISOR - CONTRACT (a number of positions for Inside and Outside Kathmandu Valley Branches)
Required Experience and Qualification:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant and progressive work experience as Gold Tester preferably in Financial Institution with proven experience in Gold Loan Marketing, Operations and Audit. Computer literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications is preferred.

7. TRAINEE ASSISTANT (a number of positions for Inside and Outside Kathmandu Valley Branches)
Required Experience and Qualification:
Bachelors degree in business related field from recognized university securing at least 50% marks or 2.5 CGPA out of 4 with fluency in Nepali and English (oral and written). Age of the applicant should not have crossed 28 years as on 16th June 2017.
