SLC chance exam results published; 65 cent pass
BHAKTAPUR: The Office of the Controller of Examinations (OCE) today published the results of School Leaving Certificate (SLC) Chance exam, which was held from August 5 to August 12 in 235 examination centres across the country.Bishnu Bahadur Dware, examination controller said that the pass percentage of the chance exam is 65.29 per cent. He said that a total of 120,317 students had appeared for the examination and out of the total only 78,453 passed the exam.
Of the total 65,378 girls examinees, only 41,622 cleared the exam, while of the total 54,939 boys only 36,831 passed.He further said that 2,001 students passed with first division marks, 59,086 students with second division marks.Similarly, result of 244 examinees was withheld and the exam of 48 students was cancelled.
