British Council Nepal has a new Country Strategy focusing on teacher training, examination reform, digital learning, EITA, examinations delivery and the development of a centre for professional development and cultural convention space.
We have secured additional funding to expand our operations in Nepal to continue and increase our commitment to cultural relations between Nepal and the UK.
ROLE OVERVIEW
To help us deliver this new strategy we are looking for five dynamic, suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join our Nepal Operation in the following posts:
Project Manager – EITA (English and IT for Adolescents): Post would suit a middle level manager interested in leading on English Project with a first degree CELTA qualification/ qualification in ELT and 3-5 years’ experience of work in education with project and relationship management in a multicultural international organization. This post is for 1 year fixed term.
Project Officer – EITA (English and IT for Adolescents): Post would suit a Bachelors’ degree (Education or Management preferred) with 2 years’ experience of project support at an operational level. Experience of working with INGOs (Education sector preferred) will be added advantage. This post is for 1 year fixed term.
Schools Project Officer: Post would suit a Bachelors graduate with 2 years’ experience of project support at an operational level. Ability to train essential. Knowledge of the school sector preferred. This post is for a fixed term of 3 years contract.
Project Officer (Education): Post would suit a Bachelors graduate with 2 years’ experience of project support at an operational level. Experience of working with INGOs at an Education sector will be added advantage. This post is for a fixed term of 3 years contract.
HR and Business Support Officer: Post would suit a Bachelors graduate with 2 years’ experience HR and Operational support at an operational level. This post is on indefinite contract terms.
