UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, is looking for a qualified candidates for two Service Contract positions for its Country Office, Nepal
1. Youth Programme Officer
Eligibility: Advanced Degree in Social Science and/or other related fields. Three years of progressively relevant experience in the area of reproductive health, population, development and gender equality etc. Experience in working with youth networks and programmes affiliated to youth development and mobilization required. Training on knowledge and information management, youth advocacy and social mobilization. Experience in UN internship, UN volunteer and UN working system is an asset.
2. Midwifery Technical Officer
Eligibility: Registered Nurse with Master's Degree in Public Health and/or other related fields. Five years of progressively relevant experience in maternal health/midwifery or involvement in midwifery education. Experience of working with government and professional bodies preferably in development/ training of midwifery capacity in the context of a developing country. Good knowledge and understanding of the Government of Nepal's national policies and strategies in the area of Safe Motherhood.
