ST. XAVIER’S COLLEGE Maitighar, Kathmandu announces admissions notice Class 11 Entrance Examination and Admission Information - 2022 (2079)
Admission is completely merit based. No recommendation regarding admission will be entertained. Any direct or indirect untoward influence will result in a demerit for the candidate. A candidate can apply only for one group, either Biology or Computer. Group once chosen cannot be changed.
ENTER TOTAL CGPA / GPA LETTER GRADE in the application form.
1. Forms can be filled and submitted online from the college website: www.sxc.edu.np
2. A proper and active email ID is essential for all applicants. The admit card and other information related to entrance examination will be sent to the email ID submitted in the application form.
3. Rs. 125/- has to be paid as application form charge online through Khalti or E-Sewa.
- Online form distribution begins: July 27, 2022 (Shrawan 11, 2079)
- Admission forms closed: Till 10 AM, August 02, 2022 (Shrawan 17, 2079)
4. Entrance Test is scheduled for August 03, 2022 Wednesday
5. Entrance exam details will be published on the website by evening August 02, 2022
6. Applicants must attend the exam in the allotted shift. No additional arrangements will be made for late comers or the ones who miss the allotted shift.
- Applicants must report to the college exactly at the time as mentioned in the admit card.
-Use the NORTH GATE for ENTRY and the MAIN GATE for EXIT.
-Things to bring for the Entrance Exam: Admit Card (Printed Copy), Pencil (At least 2B) or black pen, Eraser and Ordinary Calculator. No other electronic devices or smart watch are allowed. Mobiles must be switched off at the gate.
-The entrance examination will test the knowledge of the candidate in English, Mathematics and Science through objective type questions. The duration of the exam will be as mentioned in the admit cards.
7. Entrance result will be published by 3:00 pm on August 04, 2022 Thursday on the college website.
- Interview Date: August 05, 2022 Friday at 8:00 am.
- Candidates must be present with their parents or responsible guardian for the interview.
- They must bring:
i. SEE Grade Sheet ii. Character certificate (if available)
ii. SXC Entrance Exam Admit Card
8. Admission List will be published on the college website on August 06, 2022 Saturday
9. Admission Schedule
- August 07, 2022 Sunday Biology Group - 10:30am - 3:00 pm
- August 08, 2022 Monday Computer Group - 10:30 am – 3:00 pm
- The admission of the student will be automatically cancelled if the Grade Sheet or Character Certificate is found fake.
10. Orientation (for students and Parents/Guardians) schedule:
a. Biology Group: August 10, 2022 Wednesday ,3:30pm (reporting time 3:15 pm)
b. Computer Group: August 11,2022 Thursday 3:30 pm (reporting time 3:15 pm)
11. Classes begin on August 14, 2022, Sunday reporting time 8:45 am
12. Fees once paid will not be refunded.
Final decision of all the applicants is left to the College Admission Committee.
ST. XAVIER'S COLLEGE IS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH ANY COACHING/BRIDGE COURSE INSTITUTE. St. Xavier's College does not have a parking facility for the entertainment applicants. Candidates are requested to use public transport or use pick and drop.
Eligibility Criteria
> Admission to Grade 11 at St. Xavier's College is purely merit-based.
> Candidates who have secured minimum 'A' in Science, Compulsory Mathematics, Optional Mathematics, and English and minimum 'B' in all other subjects are encouraged to apply.
> The shortlisted students will have to pass an interview by a panel of experts before being finally selected for admission at SXC.
> Candidates must submit the marksheet of Grade 8, 9 and 10 while filing in the online application form.
