2020 Diversity Visa program is now OPEN.
The application period for the 2020 Diversity Visa (DV) program is from noon Eastern Standard Time, October 3, 2018 (9:45 pm local time in Nepal; Ashwin 17, 2075 B.S.), and closes at noon, Eastern Standard Time, November 6, 2018 (10:45 pm local time; Kartik 20, 2075 B.S.)
The application fee is free for the DV lottery. The U.S. Embassy recommends applicants to apply on their own; consultants are strictly prohibited. However, the applicants can use the assistance of their family members, friends or trusted person.
HOW TO APPLY EDV 2020 !
The family details should be briefly described. However, the new policy change for the 2020 program dictates to include the details of spouse and all the unmarried children under the age of 21 to make a valid entry. Else, the entries will be disqualified.
An applicant will have to submit only one application with a recent photo with no wear glasses and hats. Entries submitted with the same photo from the last DV year will be disqualified.
The confirmation number should not be made public. It should be printed and saved to check the status. Entering confirmation number at official website will confirm whether the applicant has been selected or not.
