The inception of Patan College began with this very simple thought, the desire to provide a globally accredited degree from a renowned UK university at our own backyard. This initial thought was put into motion by launching a very incisive research into Universities at the United Kingdom (UK), The search was exhaustive, painstaking but rewarding, as it led us on to the University of Bedfordshire (UoB), with over a hundred years of experience as a quality education provider in the UK.
Patan College for Professional Studies has been permitted by Ministry of Education, Nepal Government to offer B.Sc.(Hons.) in Computer Science & Software Engineering & BBA (Hons.) in academic Partnership with University of Bedfordshire. Both these courses has been recognized by Tribhuvan University, Nepal.

1. B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computer Science & Software Engineering
(Duration: 3 Years, Credits: 360)The course has been designed to develop graduates who are able to:
- Broadly based yet enough depth (programming skills, testing skills etc.) so as to give you credible vocational skills in both Computer Science and Software Engineering;
- Coverage of the entire Software Engineering lifecycle and comprehensive skills in applied programming and in applied Computer science topics;
- Taught by staff with both a strong academic research background who’re also actively engaged in knowledge transfer (e.g. to local SME’s), and who are at the forefront of their
field;
- Emphasis on the lifecycle but also in depth skills such as programming and analysis.
Eligibility Criteria:
Successful completion of 10+2 or equivalent (any discipline) with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.

2. B.A (Hons.) in Business Administration- BBA (Hons.)
(Duration: 3 Years, Credits: 360)The course aims to deliver conceptual propositions and skills related to:
> a range of business models, ideas and managerial techniques
> a number of management theories relevant to different functions of the business
> a range of suitable examples and contexts to assist you in operating in different business environments.
> the opportunity to expand upon theoretical constructs into the application of knowledge and its practical implications for the business as a going concern.
