    VACANCY NOTICE
    Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) invites qualified candidates to apply for the following positions.

    1. Position: Head Coach (Nepal National Cricket Team)

    The Head Coach will be responsible for leading the development of Senior Men’s Cricket Team which produce consistent winning performances at the international level through the design and delivery of well-structured and progressive coaching programs.

    Location: Kathmandu, Nepal

    Job Category: Full Time Employee, Contract basis

    Job Description: Delivering high quality, international standard cricket coaching with the aim of improving the performance and results of the Nepal National Cricket Team.

    Eligibility Criteria
    > Minimum of ECB or CA Level 3 (or equivalent) cricket coaching qualification
    > Minimum of three (3) years of coaching experience within a professional cricket environment (e.g. ICC Full Member / First-Class Team / ICC Associate Member National Team/ International Leagues etc).
    > Understanding and knowledge of cricketing culture, pathway and ODI cycle of Associate Member Teams.
    > Male below the age of 60 years.

    Desirable

    > The Head Coach will lead a team of suitably skilled and experienced coaching and performance-related professionals, and will be responsible for assisting in their recruitment, defining their specific role(s) in the squad, and managing their performance with respect to the quality of their impact on individual cricketers and the wider team.
    > Understanding and knowledge of cricket, including Nepal cricket
    > Proficiency in written and spoken English
    > Proficiency in computer skills.

    Remuneration:
    Based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate, as per CAN’s policies

    2. Position: General Manager (Cricket Association of Nepal)

    > Location: Kathmandu, Nepal
    > Job Category: Full Time Employee, Contract basis
    > Job Description: Lead CAN in promotion, development, performance, administration and general management of Nepal cricket following CAN board policies and constitution. Maximize funding opportunities for Nepal cricket by securing additional income.

    Eligibility Criteria
    > Must demonstrate ability to grow revenues and/or fundraise through partnership with different organizations.
    > Master’s degree from a recognized University, preference given to Management / Administration / finance degree. Sport management course/degree will be an additional asset
    > Minimum 2 years of experience working, preferably in a leadership position.
    > Demonstrate great leadership and communication qualities with financial management skills, including budgeting, planning, and administration
    > Nepali National below the age of 55 years.

    Desirable
    > Lead CAN in promotion, development, performance, administration and general management of Nepal cricket following CAN board policies and constitution.
    > Maximize funding opportunities for Nepal cricket by securing additional income.
    > Ability to manage the expectations of CAN’s stakeholders.
    > Understanding and knowledge of cricket, including Nepal cricket
    > Proficiency in written and spoken English
    > Proficiency in computer skills.

    3. Position: Chief Finance Officer (CFO) (Cricket Association of Nepal
    > Location: Kathmandu, Nepal
    > Job Category: Full Time Employee, Contract basis
    > Job Description: Lead CAN finances including fiscal activity, budgeting, reporting, and auditing in accordance with CAN policies and constitution. Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of CAN by providing financial projections, preparing growth plans, and directing staff.

    Eligibility Criteria
    > Masters degree in business/finance/accounting or related field from a recognized University.
    > Minimum 5 years of experience working in accounting or finance management, preferably in a leadership position.
    > Demonstrate great leadership and communication qualities with financial management skills, including budgeting, planning, and administration.
    > Experience with developing organizational strategies through financial/accounting information and analysis in line with organizational objectives.
    > Nepali National below the age of 55 years.

    Desirable
    > Proficiency with accounting software, word processing, and spreadsheets.
    > Understanding and knowledge of cricket, including Nepal cricket
    > Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills
    > High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

    4. Position: Local Coach – 7 (One in each province) (Cricket Association of Nepal)

    > Location: Different Provinces/Districts across Nepal. Candidates could be assigned to work within their respective provinces.
    > Job Category: Full Time Employee, Contract basis
    > Job Description: Prepare & deliver specific cricket coaching programs under the direction of CAN. To monitor and observe players during training and games as well as provide guidance and feedback to enhance players’ cricket skills. Develop an inspiring and impactful learning environment for the players.
    Eligibility Criteria
    > Minimum of Level 1 (or equivalent) cricket coaching qualification from a recognized institution. Candidates currently involved in coaching are preferred.
    > Willingness to travel across Nepal to work in coordination with Province/District Cricket associations as per CAN directives.
    > Ability to identify talent and implement programs to recruit such talents.
    > Nepali National between 25 to 55 years of age.

    Desirable
    > Understanding and knowledge of world cricket
    > Level 2 (or equivalent) cricket coaching qualification from a recognized institution.
    > Disciplined, self-motivated and exceptional planning, co-ordination and organizational skills
    > Excellent interpersonal communication skills and able to establish and maintain relationships with diverse groups of players.
    > Cricket playing experience at the National level.

    5. Position: Cricket Manager (Cricket Association of Nepal)
    > Location: Kathmandu, Nepal
    > Job Category : Full Time Employee, Contract basis

    Job Description: Aid in the development, implementation and monitoring of the struc¬ture and programs for cricket in all levels as per CAN policies (domestic, age group and women’s cricket education and school-based programs, etc.). Organize, and facilitate the playing opera¬tions of Nepal Cricket Develop coaching schemes to help all level of cricket coaching/development across Nepal.

    Eligibility Criteria
    > Minimum of ECB or CA Level 2 (or equivalent) cricket coaching qualification
    > Master’s degree in Management/Administration from a recognized University
    > Minimum 2 years of experience working, preferably in a leadership position.
    > Nepali National below the age of 55 years.

    Desirable
    > Understanding and knowledge of cricket, including Nepal cricket
    > Ability to create and manage high level cricket development programs according to CAN directives.
    > Disciplined, self-motivated and exceptional strategic planning, co-ordination and organizational skills
    > Excellent interpersonal communication skills and able to establish and maintain relationships with diverse groups of players, coaching staff, management and Board members.
    > First-Class or International cricket playing experience.
    > Organize, and facilitate the playing opera¬tions of Nepal Cricket Develop coaching schemes to help all level of cricket coaching/development across Nepal.
