A total of 61.81 percent of students who appeared in this year’s Secondary Education Examination (SEE) have been officially graded, according to the National Examination Board (NEB).
According to the results under regular category, Eight students got 1.60
to 2 GPA. Similarly, 4,126 students got GPA 2 to 2.40, 48479 students
got GPA 2.40 to 2.80, 89,124 students got GPA 2.80 to 3.20 and 81,385
students got GPA 3.20 to 3.60. Likewise, 48,177 students scored from
3.60 to 4 , the NEB stated. 167,597 students were classified as non-graded (NG).

The Secondary
Education Examination (SEE), attended by 514071 students, was held from March
20 to April 1, 2025 this year. 421,585 regular students participated in the SEE
this year, included 209,705 female and 211,857 male students. .The SEE exam
was administered through 2,079 exam centers.
Last year, SEE 2024
(2080) result was published on 27 June 2024 (13 Asar 2081) . According to the
last year results, of 464,785 examinees, a total of 242,313 failed or got
none-grade (NG). Only 47.86 per cent of students passed the exams last
year.

NEXT STEPS FOR STUDENTS:
Grading System
The exam results has been released using the letter grading method in accordance with the Letter Grading Directive 2078 (with the third modification). Students must receive at least 35% in both the internal and theoretical examinations in order to receive the minimal grade. A minimum of 27 marks are needed for subjects that have 75 full marks in theory. A minimum of 10 marks are needed for subjects that received 25 full marks on the internal evaluation.
SEE 2081 2082 Supplementary Examination
Eligibility for Supplementary (Grade Improvement) Examination
All
the candidates who participated as regular candidates in the Secondary
Education Examination (SEE) which was held from Chaitra 7, 2081 and were
unable to obtain grades or were absent are eligible to participate in
Supplementary Examination.
The SEE Supplementary examination starts from Sharwan 29, 2082 ( Thursday) and ends on Bhadra 6, 2082 (Friday).

Rechecking and Revaluation of Answer Sheet
Students who are dissatisfied with their published results can request that their answer sheets be rechecked and reevaluated. The rechecking application can be submitted online through the website. After the results are published, detailed information and instructions will be available on the National Examination Board, SEE, and National Examination Board Central Office websites.
NEB has opened the application process for re-totaling of SEE 2081
results. Students who participated in the regular or grade increment
examination of 2081 and are dissatisfied with their grades obtained can
apply for re-totaling by submitting an online application by 5:00 PM on
Ashadh 23, 2082.

Corrections to age, name, and surname
If there are any discrepancies in a student's age, name, or surname, corrections can be made within five years of the results being published using the admission card or a decision from the concerned Chief District Officer if the admission card also contains discrepancies. Applications for corrections should be submitted accordingly.
