    UK education show

    British Council is going to organise ‘Education UK Exhibition’ from 12-13th February at DECC (Direction Exhibition and Convention Centre) at United World Trade Centre, Tripureshwor, Kathmandu.
    British Council said that the exhibition would be organized to promote UK education and to enhance the understanding of the UK’s expertise in education. The event is organized in an exclusive way where students and parents will get a chance to meet the representatives from twenty one different UK institutions, said British Council.

    It was informed that there would also be seminars / presentations by the representatives from British Council, British High Commission in Delhi and the UK based institutions.
    The event is the biggest opportunity for having face to face discussions and interactions among the alumni, students, aspirants, parents, career advisers, agents, representatives and people from all walks of life looking to broaden their educational horizons in a modern and professional way.
    The growing demand for overseas education is becoming more apparent as many Nepalese students pursue higher/further education and those who already have qualifications want to upgrade or update them, British Council said.
    During the exhibition, University of Bedfordshire, Brunel University, West London, Bradford University, British Institute of Technology and E-commerce, University of Central Lancashire, Preston , University of East Anglia, University of East London , University of Greenwich, London, Liverpool Hope University, Middlesex University and all total 21 UK institutions are taking part at the exhibition.

    One of the most popular education destinations these days is the UK. The British education, famous for its breadth and academic excellence, offers outstanding education to students from all over the world, said British Council.

    Independent thinking and student centered learning are the hallmarks of the British degree courses. British higher education offers shorter and more intensive courses than are available in many other countries, it informed.

    Study abroad is becoming more and more popular with a variety of career opportunities available for aspirants and students, British Council added.

    In many cases students are in a dilemma with regard to choosing the right career with the right aptitude. Taking this into consideration, this exhibition is focused on complete guidance about the career opportunities that are available and enabling the students to make the right career/education choice.
