PGDHCM is a professionally designed program of international standard aiming to impart a foundation course in health care management in a wider sense and also prepares for some specific applications of health care management. It opens up a career and consolidates students' knowledge and also prepares them for further studies in health care management.

Objectives
The PGDHCM Program, which leads to MHCM program in the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) of Pokhara University, is devoted to impart theoretical - cum - practical knowledge in Health Care Management. Specially, the program aims at:
> Preparing students to upgrade professional level and managerial position either in Health Care Management or in Hospital Management.
> Inculcating a positive attitude, abilities and practical skills, which that are essential for a competent and responsible manager into students.
