Pokhara University, Scholarship Selection Committee invites for applications from eligible Nepali candidates for the scholarships at its constituent and affiliated colleges for bachelor-level programs.This initiative is in line with the Pokhara University Scholarship Regulations of 2065.

Pokhara University has allocated a total of 1,381 scholarship quotas, which are divided as follows: 558 scholarships for science and technology programs, 777 scholarships for management studies programs, and 46 scholarships for humanities and social sciences programs.

> MHCM Program: For admission to the MHCM Program, candidates must have completed their BHCM degree or a Post Graduate Diploma in Healthcare Management (HCM). They must be in possession of a bachelor's degree in a health science field or an equivalent qualification. In both cases, a minimum of 15 years of formal education (12 years of schooling plus 3 years of graduation) is required. The minimum CGPA necessary is 2.5/4 (in second division) or above.

Pokhara University Master Level Scholarship Notice

Pokhara University, Faculty of Management Studies, Lekhnath, Kaski has published notice regarding scholarships to study Master of Business Administration (MBA), MBA Finance, MBA (Global Business), Master of Healthcare Management (MHCM), and Master of Computer Information Systems (MCIS) programs for March 2023 intake in constituent and affiliated colleges of Pokhara University for scholarship applicants.

The available scholarship quotas are MBA-36 MBA (Finance)-6, MBA (Global Business)-3, MCIS-3, and MHCM-3. Interested and eligible applicants can apply.

Eligibility
> For MBA Program: Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 15 years of formal education (12 years of schooling and three years of graduation) in any discipline with minimum CGPA 2.0, second division or 45% in bachelor’s level. In addition, applicants applying for Executive MBA must have a minimum of two-year's work experience at the supervisory or executive level in the organized sector.
> For MCIS Program: Candidates having bachelor’s degree – BIT/BCA/BCIS/BIM/BBIS or equivalent with 2.5/4 CGPA (in the second division) or above.

Pokhara University Eligibility of Bachelor Programs (NEW)

 Pokhara University has updated the eligibility criteria for the admission of students to undergraduate programs under various faculties of Pokhara University.

A. Faculty of Management
For Grade 12 Graduates till 2078 BS
> Pass Grade 12 examination with a minimum CGPA 1.8 and achieve a minimum of D+ grade in every subject in Grade 11 and 12.

For Grade 12 Graduates from 2079 BS
> Pass Grade 12 examination with a minimum CGPA 1.8 and achieve a minimum of D grade in every subject in Grade 11 and 12.
> Students who have successfully completed higher secondary or intermediate examination with minimum second division

B. Science and Technology
1. BSc in Environmental Management Programs
> The candidates should have completed Class 12 examination of NEB or equivalent level in Science and Technology stream such as Forestry, Agriculture, Veterinary/ Engineering from a recognized academic institution.
> The candidates should have scored a minimum of 45% or a CGPA/GPA of 2.0 (in a scale of 4.0) and at least Grade C (in case of A-level, at least Grade D) or 45% in the following subjects.
- Physics
- Chemistry or Environment-related subjects, e.g., Environmental Management, Pollution, etc.
- Mathematics or Biology or Zoology or Botany or Computer Science

2. Bachelor of Computer Application
- The candidates should have completed Class 12 examination of NEB or equivalent level from a recognized academic institution.
- The candidates should have studied a course (having at least 100 full marks or 5 credits) of Mathematics (Mathematics/ Business Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics) or Computer Science/Computer Application in SLCE (class 11 or class 12) examination of NEB or equivalent level.
- The candidates should have scored a minimum of 45% or a CGPA/GPA of 2.0 (in a scale of 4.0) and at least Grade C (in case of A-level, at least Grade D) or 45% in Mathematics/Computer Science. The minimum criterion of Grade C (in case of A level, Grade D) or 45% does not apply to other courses.

3. Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Architecture
- The candidates should have completed Class 12 examination of NEB or equivalent level from a recognized academic institution.
- The candidates should have studied at least one course (having at least 100 full marks or 5 credits) each in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- The candidates should have scored a minimum of 45% or a CGPA/GPA of 2.0 (in a scale of 4.0) and at least Grade C (in case of A-level, at least Grade D) or 45% in each subject (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics).

The minimum criterion of Grade C (in case of A level, Grade D) or 45% does not apply to other courses or extra courses if any. Candidates should have studied mathematics with at least 100 marks in Class 11 or class 12 examination of NEB or equivalent level.

C. Humanities and Social Sciences
For Grade 12 Graduates till 2078 BS
- Pass Grade 12 examination with a minimum CGPA 1.8 and achieve a minimum of D+ grade in every subject in Grade 11 and 12.

For Grade 12 Graduates from 2079 BS
- Pass Grade 12 examination with a minimum CGPA 1.8 and achieve a minimum of D grade in every subject in Grade 11 and 12.
