The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), an independent humanitarian organization whose mandate is to provide protection and assistance for victims of armed conflict and other situations of violence has a vacancy for the following position based in Kathmandu.

Job Position; Communication Officer
Minimum requirements:
• University degree (Master) in any discipline preferably in political science, social science and mass communication / journalism
• Familiar with print and AV design software
• Knowledge about system, function and structures of the Government of Nepal
• 3 years of work experience in a similar field
• Excellent in written and spoken English
• Excellent presentation and training skills
• Very good analytical and writing skills
• Very good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Duration of the position: One year with possibility of extension
