Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) was established as an autonomous
regulatory body on 31 December 1998 under Civil Aviation Act, 1996. CAAN is
the regulator of civil aviation as well as the service provider in the areas
of Air Navigation Services and Aerodrome Operations.
VACANCY NOTICE
The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN - Nagarik Udhyan Pradhikaran) invites applications from the elgible candidates for the various Administrative and Technical positions. The vacant positions are to be fulfilled by open and inclusive competitive written examinations. The written examination will be conducted by the Public Service Commission.

APPLICATION FEE:
The examination fee is NPR 1,600 for Levels 9 and 8, NPR 1,200 for Levels 7 and 6, and NPR 600 for Levels 5 and 4. Candidates applying under inclusive groups must pay an additional 50 percent of the prescribed fee for each additional group. Candidates applying only under an inclusive group must pay the same fee as for the open category.
AGE LIMIT:
By the final application date, candidates applying for assistant-level positions must have completed 18 years of age, and candidates applying for officer-level positions must have completed 21 years of age. For male, the age must not exceed 35 years, and for female and persons with disabilities, it must not exceed 40 years. For Level 8 and above, the age must not exceed 40 years. The age limit will not apply to permanent employees of the Authority.
