Government Of Nepal (GON) and Government of Switzerland have been implementing Nepal Vocational Qualifications System Project (NVQS-P) since 2015. The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) is providing financial and technical assistance to the GON (Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT)/Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MOEST) For the implementation of the project.

Swisscontact Nepal has set up a technical assistance team- Project Support Unit (PSU) on behalf of SDC.Swisscontact is the business-oriented independent foundation for international development cooperation. Represented in 36 countries with over 1100 employers, It promotes – since 1959- economic, social and environmental development.

For the second phase of NVQS-P (Subject to ratification of the bilateral agreement), Swisscontact invites applications from committed and experienced and experienced Nepali Citizens for the following positions.

1. Position: Deputy Team Leader (Management)

> Number of Vacancies: 1

Required Qualification and Experience:
> Master or higher degree in relevant field (education, TVET, Management, Business studies)
> Minimum of 10 years of work experience in relevant field (Development Cooperation and /or designing and administering national and/or regional TVET programmes) and additional 3 years of management experience.

2. Position: Process Managers
> Number of Vacancies: 2

Required Qualification and Experience:

> Master or higher degree in relevant field (education, TVET, Management, Business studies, development studies)
> Minimum of 5 years of work experience in relevant field (Development Cooperation, TVET sector, NGO/INGO on planning and development of training and learning materials) and additional 2 years of management experience.

3. Position: Communication & Knowledge Management Specialist
> Number of Vacancies: 1

Required Qualification and Experience:
> Bachelor or higher degree in relevant field (degree in communication is preferred)
> Minimum of 3 years of work experience in communication in the development sector with proven competencies.

4. Position: Administration Officer
> Number of Vacancies: 1

Required Qualification and Experience:
> Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent with a concentration in HR will be preferable.
> Minimum of 3 years of work experience in admin and HR in the development cooperation sector with donor agencies, international and national NGOs

5. Position: Administration Assistant/Receptionist
> Number of Vacancies: 1

Required Qualification and Experience:
> Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent
> Minimum of 2 years of work experience in similar position, preferably in the development cooperation field with donor agencies, international and national NGOs

For all the Positions
Duration: One year with possibility of extension

Duty Station: NVQS PSU Office, CTEVT Complex, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, Nepal

Remuneration and Benefits: As per the rules and regulations of Swisscontact Nepal
