Government of Nepal, Teachers Service Commission, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur
administers licensing exams to choose secondary school teachers (Madhyamik
Vidyalaya-Ma Vi). The examination is intended to evaluate candidates'
knowledge and abilities in a thorough manner.
The licensing
examination system will be objective type. The examination consists of 50
questions, each worth two marks (i.e. a total of 100 marks). Two marks will be awarded for each correct answer in the multiple-choice questions. There is no provision for negative marking. When developing objective questions, 40% will be from Level I, 30% from Level II, and 30% from Level III.
For candidates to pass the examination,
they must secure at least 50 Marks. In order to be eligible for a teaching
license, candidates must show that they are proficient in the approved
syllabus during the one-hour exam.
