The entrance examination will be held from 2081 Bhadra 16 at the Institute of Engineering, Information and Communication Technology Center (ICTC), Pulchowk, Lalitpur, and at the designated places, times, and shifts in Pashchimanchal Campus, Pokhara.

Eligibility
- Students who have passed the Proficiency Certificate Level or Higher
Secondary Level or A Level or Engineering Diploma Level or equivalent
examination with at least 45% of the total marks in Physics, Chemistry, and
Mathematics in Class 11 and 12 and have obtained a minimum C Grade in each
subject in the Final Grade (in case of NEB) are eligible to apply and
participate in the entrance examination.
- Students who have appeared in
the final examination of Class 12 or equivalent or in the sixth semester
examination of Engineering Diploma are also eligible to apply.
- Foreign
nationals are eligible to apply only for the full-fee program.
Entrance Examinations and Admissions
- The entrance exam, which will be administered via a computer-based
method using information technology, will include objective-type questions.
There will be 100 questions, and each incorrect answer will deduct 10% of the
total score.
- According to the syllabus published by the IOE Entrance
Exam Board the computer-based entrance exam will be two hours long and cover
subjects such as English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

Eligible for MOE Scholarships
Candidates who pass the Tribhuvan University Institute of Engineering's
Bachelor's level B.E./B.Arch entrance exams for the academic year 2081/2082
and meet the legal standards outlined in the Nepal Government's Ministry of
Education, Science, and Technology's scholarship regulations will be eligible
for scholarships in higher education engineering subjects provided by the
ministry in the year 2081/2082.
