Following the school teachers' ongoing protests focused on Kathmandu, the
National Examination Board (NEB) has chosen to postpone the Grade 12 final
exams.
The NEB decided to start the exams on May 4 at a meeting on
Tuesday night. The NEB postponed the exams, citing ongoing national
circumstances as justification.
As many as 550,000 students
are taking the examination
Although the precise schedule for the
rescheduled examination has not yet been made public, officials stated that
following an internal meeting, the Board would finalize and publish the
revised examination schedule by Wednesday.
