Bachelor of Science in Medical Biochemistry (B.Sc. Medical Biochemistry) is an eight semesters and four year course. The program focuses mainly on medical biochemistry.
Biochemistry is at the core of all modern biology. Advances in areas as diverse as medicine, plant breeding and industrial biotechnology are dependent on a firm understanding of the underlying metabolic processes.
The course in biochemistry aims to provide a solid grounding in the fundamentals of metabolism and molecular Biology leading to a study of the application of this knowledge in the real world, this applied focus of the course equips students for careers not only in education and research but also in the different setting of health care.
