The Government of Nepal, Department of Transport Management, has made
the application, renewal and revenue payment of driving licenses to an online
system 1st Shrawan, 2083 (17 July 2026). With this, the hassle of having to go
to the office for license application, renewal and revenue payment has come to
an end.
The service for filling and renewing the Electronic Driving
License form will be available online from 2083/04/01 and revenue payment will
also be made online. Service recipients will be able to automatically
fill in their personal details in the application form by scanning the QR code
on their national identity card or the Citizen App.
The department
has identified different web portals for online services according to the
province. Service recipients from the respective provinces can apply by
clicking on the link accordingly.
