KMC Grade 11 Second Nomination List 2083/2084: 13 June 2026
Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC), Office of the Municipal Executive, has published the Second-Phase Nomination List for students selected under the Grade 11 and 12 Scholarship Program for the academic session 2083/84.

The KMC 2nd phase nomination list has been prepared based on the final merit list, students’ academic stream preferences, institutional choices, reservation categories, and the scholarship seats remaining vacant after the first-round admission process.

Students nominated in the second phase must complete their admission process on: Asar 1, 2083 and Asar 2, 2083

To view the nomination list results, students can view list by entering their roll number, date of birth, and password (received via mobile/email) & download and print their nomination scorecards through the online application portal i.e. https://entrance.kathmandu.gov.np/  .

The Kathmandu Metropolitan City(KMC) has announced 1st Phase Nomination List (Matching List) results  of Class 11 scholarship entrance examination for the academic year 2083/2084 B.S.

Applicants can view, download and print their nomination list result through the online application portal https://entrance.kathmandu.gov.np/. using their roll number (given by KMC), date of birth and password received via mobile or email, and should be admitted to concerned schools by 2083-02-27 BS.

KMC Grade 11 Scholarships Result (Preliminary) 2083/2084 (31 May 2026)
The Kathmandu Metropolitan City has announced Preliminary results of Class 11 scholarship entrance examination for the academic year 2083/2084 B.S. According to today's decision (i.e. 18 Jestha 2083) by the Scholarship Examination Committee, the preliminary results, including the merit order of candidates who secured a minimum of 40 marks, have been published. The highest scorer obtained 92 marks, while another student secured 91 marks. Five students scored 90 marks. The final merit list will be published after the re-evaluation process, following which student nomination and school matching procedures will begin.

Scholarship Examination
The scholarship examination took place on Sharwan 3, 2082 (Saturday) at 83 different examination centers. 14,057 students pass the scholarship selection examination. Of the 26,888 students who applied online, applications of 26,603 were approved, while 22,020 students appeared for the examination. The highest scorer obtained 92 marks, while another student secured 91 marks. Five students scored 90 marks. Students seeking re-evaluation must submit an application to the Education Department along with a copy of the admit card and a Rs 1,000 fee by June 3.


The final merit list will be published after the re-evaluation process, following which student nomination and school matching procedures will begin.

HOW TO APPLY
Interested students can apply online through the Kathmandu Metropolitan City's official website www.kathmandu.gov.np or via  http://entrance.kathmandu.gov.np/
(The application window will open from Jestha 1, 10 AM onwards)

Scholarship Examination Structure:
There will be 100 multiple-choice questions based on the subjects and areas covered in the examination based on the Secondary Level Class 10 curriculum.  It will consist of 30 questions from Compulsory Mathematics and Compulsory Science & Technology, 20 from Social Studies, 10/10 from Nepali and English subjects. The medium of questions paper will be both Nepali and English. To pass the scholarship examination, a minimum of 40% marks must be obtained. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Examination will be conducted via OMR Sheet. There will not be Negative Marking for wrong answers.

Examination Duration: The total duration of the exam will be two hours.  Applicants won't be able to apply to more than one program.

KMC publishes Scholarships Nomination List (1st Phase) (23 July 2025)
Kathmandu Metropolitan City has published the first nomination list (school priority list) for Grade 11 and 12 scholarships for the academic year 2082/2083 B.S.. In the first phase, 3,361 applicants were selected for 140 educational institutions. 

The nominated students must enroll in the designated educational institution by 9th Shrawan 2082 (25 July, 2025).

KMC Grade 11 Scholarships Result  and Re-Totaling Application notice 2082/2083 (20 July 2025)
The Kathmandu Metropolitan City has announced results of Class 11 scholarship entrance examination for the academic year 2082/2083 B.S.The scholarship examination took place on Sharwan 3, 2082 (Saturday) at 54 different examination centers.

The list was compiled using the exam results from 2083 Shrawan 3. The selection criteria included subject and group qualifications, reservation based on the priority order provided by examinees during the online application process, and the number of seats reserved for each group.

The Kathmandu Metropolitan City selected a total of 16,137 students to participate in the entrance exam under the scholarship quota in institutional schools for Grades 11 and 12 for the academic session 2082/083. These students were selected from a total of 17,229 applications received from all 77 districts nationwide.A cording to the Education Department, among the selected students, 11,590 were for the Science stream, 4,164 for Management, 32 for Humanities, 95 for Education, and 256 for the Law stream.

This is a preliminary result. After addressing all objections and verifications, the first matching list will be published on 2082/04/06 based on the final merit ranking and the institution preferences selected during application.

 Kathmandu Metropolitan Scholarship (KMC) Grade 11 Scholarship Examination was held on Shrawan 3, 2082 BS ( 19 July 2025 AD). A total of 17,229 students from across the country have applied for scholarships to be provided by Kathmandu Metropolitan City to students in grades 11 and 12 of institutional schools for the academic session 2082/083. Among the 17,229 applications filed from all 77 districts of the nation, 16,137 students participated in this year's scholarship entrance exam.

Integrated Education Management Information System (IEMIS)
