AYUSH Scholarship Scheme of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) from Embassy of India, Kathmandu

 The Embassy of India, Kathmandu invites applications from Nepalese Nationals to study Undergraduate/Post Graduate/PhD courses related to Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, Yoga & Homoeopathy in Indian Universities/Institutions/Colleges under AYUSH Scholarship Scheme of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) through its online A2A Portal www.a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in for the academic year 2026-27.

Eligibility for Undergraduate Courses:
a) Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS): 5 1⁄2 years degree course including one year mandatory clinical training (internship)
Eligibility: 12 years of schooling with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry & Biology)

b) Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS): 5 1⁄2 years degree course including one year mandatory clinical training (internship)
Eligibility: 12 years of schooling with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry & Biology)

c) Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS): 5 1⁄2 years degree course including one year mandatory clinical training (internship)
Eligibility: 12 years of schooling with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry & Biology)

d) Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicines and Surgery (BHMS): 5 1⁄2 years degree course including one year mandatory clinical training (internship)

Eligibility: BAMS degree recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM)

Pokhara University, Faculty of Management Master's Scholarships 2026

Pokhara University's Faculty of Management Studies in Lekhnath, Kaski, has announced scholarship opportunities for Master of Business Administration (MBA), MBA Finance, MBA (Global Business), Master of Healthcare Management (MHCM), and Master of Computer System and Information Technology (MCSIT) programs at Pokhara University's constituent and affiliated colleges for the March Session, 2026.

Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme for Nepalese Students studying in Nepal 2025-2026

 The Embassy of India, Kathmandu invites online applications for Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme (GJSS) and Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship Scheme (MGSS) from Nepalese nationals studying in Nepal.

The Online Application Form may be submitted through Web Portal www.goischolarship.com.np from October 06, 2025 to November 02, 2025. The portal will be closed at 00.00 hrs. on November 03, 2025. Applicants will be able to submit their application forms latest by 23.59 hrs. on November 02, 2025.

MGSS 2025-26 for Class 11
1. Eligibility
- Candidate should be a regular student of Class 11 (not Diploma) in any recognized educational institute of Nepal. Proof of student studying in Class 11 and not receiving scholarship from any other source duly attested by Principal/Head of Institute to be uploaded.
- Candidate must have secured at least 60% aggregate marks in Class 10. Mark- Sheet of Class 10 to be uploaded.
- Candidate must be a citizen of Nepal. Citizenship Certificate of self and parents (both mother and father) to be uploaded.
- In case of physically challenged Candidate, certificate issued by officer of the Government of Nepal (Local/District Administration Office, etc.) to be uploaded.
- Family income of the Candidate must be less than NPR 2,00,000/- per annum. Latest income certificate issued by officer of the Government of Nepal (Local/District Administration Office, etc.) to be uploaded.

2. Scholarship Amount and Duration
- The selected Candidates will get a scholarship amount of NPR 24,000/- per annum for 2 years (Class 11 and 12).
- The scholarship will continue in Class 12 only on submission of the following documents:
(i) A copy of mark sheet of Class XI;
(ii) Present status Certificate of promotion to and studying in Class 12 with percentage obtained in Class 11, duly authenticated by Principal/Head of Institute.

The scholarship awardees may submit the above-mentioned documents latest by December 31 each year via Email on mail ID “attacheedu.kathmandu@mea.gov.in”. Further installments of scholarship will be deposited in the bank a/c (opened by the Embassy in the name of scholarship awardee) only on receipt of requisite documents. If the documents are not received in the given time-frame, the scholarship will be terminated.

GJSS 2025-26 for Bachelor Courses
1. Eligibility
- Candidate should be a regular Undergraduate student of 1st year (not Diploma) in any recognized educational institute of Nepal. Proof of student studying in first year of Bachelor Course and not receiving scholarship from any other source, duly attested by Principal/Head of Institute to be uploaded.
- Candidate must have secured at least 70% aggregate marks in Class 12 (excluding Class 11 marks). Mark Sheet of Class 12 to be uploaded.
- Age Limit:- Age of Applicant must be between 17 to 22 years as on 1st July 2026.
- Candidate must be a citizen of Nepal. Citizenship Certificate of self and parents (both mother and father) to be uploaded.
- In case of physically challenged Candidate, certificate issued by officer of the Government of Nepal (Local/District Administration Office, etc.) to be uploaded.
- Family income of the Candidate must be less than NPR 2,00,000/- per annum. Latest income certificate issued by officer of the Government of Nepal (Local/District Administration Office, etc.) to be uploaded.

2. Scholarship Amount and Duration

Sanima Bank Scholarship for Plus Two Students (SEE 2081 Graduates)

 Sanima Bank, giving continuity to its long-standing scholarship program to students from community schools, invites application from the recent SEE graduates.  The Bank has been providing this scholarship every year from Fiscal Year 2068/69 BS.

The scholarship program would enable the needy and diligent students from community schools outside the Kathmandu Valley to pursue their higher education in the plus two colleges of their choice.

Scholarship Details:
The scholarship program covers the total academic fee of a student in a selected plus two college for the two years, items of stationary and educational materials as well as Rs 2,000 as a monthly stipend for the  entire period of scholarship.

Eligibility:
Applicant must have studied in any Government/ Community school of the same area for at least 3 years and should have secured a minimum of "B" Grade in the SEE Examination held in 2081 in first attempt.

Documents to be enclosed with the application:

- Copy of Birth certificate or Citizenship
- Recommendation Letter that students belong to the poor and needy families.
- One passport-size photograph
- SEE mark sheet and character certificate.
- Proof that the student has been studying in a government or community institute in the bank's branch locality for at least three years.

KMC Grade 11 Scholarship Entrance Exam Question Paper 2082/2083 (2025)

 Kathmandu Metropolitan Scholarship (KMC) Grade 11 Scholarship Examination was held on Shrawan 3, 2082 BS ( 19 July 2025 AD). A total of 17,229 students from across the country have applied for scholarships to be provided by Kathmandu Metropolitan City to students in grades 11 and 12 of institutional schools for the academic session 2082/083. Among the 17,229 applications filed from all 77 districts of the nation, 16,137 students participated in this year's scholarship entrance exam.

The Kathmandu Metropolitan Scholarship Class 11 Scholarship Exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions, with 30 questions each from Mathematics, Science, and English, and 10 from General Knowledge. A minimum of 40% is required to pass, and there's no negative marking for incorrect answers. The exam duration is two hours.

- Section A : English (30 Marks)
- Section B: Maths (30 Marks)
- Section C: Science (30 Marks)
- Section D: General Knowledge (10 Marks)

Key Details:
- Subjects: The exam covers Mathematics, Science, English, and General Knowledge.
- Question Type: 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
- Question Distribution: 30 questions each from Mathematics, Science, and English, and 10 from General Knowledge.

Minimum Eligibility for Application for Ktm Metro Grade 11-12 Scholarship

- Minimum GPA of 1.6 in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE).
- Completion of SEE from a community school.
- Completion of SEE through studying with a scholarship of 10% in institutional schools.

KMC Class 11 Scholarship Entrance Examination Question Paper 2081/2082 (2024)

Kathmandu Metropolitan Scholarship (KMC) Grade 11 Scholarship Examination was held on Shrawan 4, 2081 BS. The placement took place in institutional schools throughout the Kathmandu Metropolitan City. Scholarships was awarded based on the results of an entrance examination

The Kathmandu Metropolitan Scholarship Class 11 Scholarship Exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions, with 30 questions each from Mathematics, Science, and English, and 10 from General Knowledge. A minimum of 40% is required to pass, and there's no negative marking for incorrect answers. The exam duration is two hours.

- Section A : English (30 Marks)
- Section B: Maths (30 Marks)
- Section C: Science (30 Marks)
- Section D: General Knowledge (10 Marks)

Key Details:

- Subjects: The exam covers Mathematics, Science, English, and General Knowledge.
- Question Type: 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
- Question Distribution: 30 questions each from Mathematics, Science, and English, and 10 from General Knowledge.
- Passing Score: 40% or more.

Embassy Of India, Kathmandu Invites Application For Undergraduate Courses Under Compex-2025 Scholarship Scheme

NOTICE
Embassy of India, Kathmandu invites online applications from Nepali Nationals for studying undergraduate course in Engineering (BE/B.Tech), Pharmacy (B.Pharma), Agriculture (B.Sc. – Ag.), Food Technology (B.Sc. - FT) and B.Sc. (Nursing) for the Academic Year 2025/26 in India.

The key dates for submission of online application are as under:  

IMPORTANT DATES
- Opening Date for On-Line Registration of Application: 26th June 2025
- Last date for Completion of On-Line Registration and submission of Application (Step-2) : 9th July’ 2025 (upto 11.45 PM)
- Last date for depositing application fee through Challan at Nepal-SBI Bank (NSBL) : 11th July’2025 (Closing of business hours)
- Last date for completion of Step-3 of On-Line application i.e filling details of Challan and uploading scanned copy of Challan and submission of complete application :13th July'2025 upto 11.45 PM

A qualifying/competitive Computer Based Test (CBT)/Examination will be conducted in different centers in Kathmandu in 4th week of July 2025 (tentatively) to select candidates for these courses. Admit Cards of eligible candidates may be downloaded from the Indian Embassy website: www.indembkathmandu.gov.in  three days before the schedule date of examination

Programs and Eligibility Criteria :
1. BE/B.Tech
Eligibility Criteria
60% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Class XII (10+2) and at least 60% marks in each subject i.e. Physics (P), Chemistry (C) and Mathematics (M) in Class XII or equivalent to 10+2 CBSE standard  in India

2. B.Sc. (Agriculture)
Eligibility Criteria
60% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Class XII (10+2) and at least 55% marks in each subject i.e. Physics (P), Chemistry (C) and Biology (B) in Class XII or equivalent to 10+2 CBSE standard in India

3. B. Pharm
Eligibility Criteria
60% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Class XII (10+2) and at least 55% marks in each subject i.e. Physics (P), Chemistry (C) and Biology (B) in Class XII or equivalent to 10+2 CBSE standard in India.

4. B.Sc. (Food Technology)
Eligibility Criteria
60% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Class XII (10+2) and at least 55% marks in each subject i.e. Physics (P), Chemistry (C) and Biology (B) in Class XII or equivalent to 10+2 CBSE standard in India.

5. B.Sc. (Nursing)
Eligibility Criteria
60% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Class XII (10+2) and at least 55% marks in each subject i.e. Physics (P), Chemistry (C) and Biology (B) in Class XII or equivalent to 10+2 CBSE standard in India.

Note : Class XI marks not to be included

Selection Process
1. Selection will be based on a qualifying/competitive Computer Based Test (CBT)/Examination conducted by the Embassy of India. However, nomination of a name by the Embassy does  not guarantee admission to any Indian colleges/ universities for the above courses.  Confirmation of admission by the Embassy will be given only after receipt of the same from  the concerned Indian University/Institution.
2 Candidates who have already passed class XII or equivalent to 10+2 CBSE standard in  India may apply. Moreover, equivalent certificate from AIU New Delhi must be produced at  the time of admission. The selection will however, depend on fulfilling of eligibility criteria.
3. Candidates appearing in 10+2/12th standard Examination during the year 2025 may also  apply in anticipation of their results. Their selection will, however be, depend on fulfilling the  above eligibility criteria. Results of the qualifying examination should be made available to the Embassy within three days after publication of Class XII results failing which the  candidature is likely to be cancelled at any stage of selection process.
4. The short-listed candidates will be informed through individual registered email. They are advised to interact solely with the Education Wing, Embassy of India, Kathmandu.
5. Request of change of College/Institution/University after placement or transfer of  scholarship will not be entertained under any circumstances.

Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme for Nepalese Students studying in Nepal 2024-2025

 


The Embassy of India, Kathmandu invites online applications for Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme from Nepali nationals studying in Nepal.

The Online Application may please be submitted through the web portal  www.goischolarship.com.np. The portal will be closed at 00.00 hrs on November 20, 2024.

GJSS 2024-25 for Bachelor Courses
1. Eligibility
- Candidate should be a regular Undergraduate student of 1st year (not Diploma) in any recognized educational institute of Nepal. Proof of student studying in first year of Bachelor Course and not receiving scholarship from any other source, duly attested by Principal/Head of Institute to be uploaded.   
- Candidate must have secured at least 70% aggregate marks in Class 12 (excluding Class 11 marks). Mark Sheet of Class 12 to be uploaded.   
- Age Limit:- Applicant must be between 17 to 22 years of age as on 1st July 2025.

Candidate must be a citizen of Nepal. Citizenship Certificate of self and parents to be uploaded.  In case of physically challenged Candidate, certificate issued by officer of the Government of Nepal (Local/District Administration Office, etc.) to be uploaded.  Family income of the Candidate must be less than NPR 2,00,000/- per annum. Latest income certificate issued by officer of the Government of Nepal (Local/District Administration Office, etc.) to be uploaded.

2. Scholarship Amount and Duration
The selected Candidates will get the scholarship amount as detailed below:

Scholarship Duration in Years
a. Course:  MBBS / BDS
- Scholarship Amount in NRs. Per Annum (NPR) : 48,000/-
- Scholarship Duration in 5 Years: 5

b. Course: B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./BAMS
- Scholarship Amount in NRs. Per Annum (NPR) :  448,000/-
- Scholarship Duration in 5 Years: 4

c. Course: Others courses
- Scholarship Amount in NRs. Per Annum (NPR) : 36,000/-
- Scholarship Duration in 5 Years: 3

The scholarship will continue in the second and subsequent years only on submission of the following documents:
i) A copy of mark sheet(s) of each year;
ii) Present status certificate of promotion to and study in next year/semester of the opted course with PERCENTAGE (an AGGREGATE Percentage in case of Semester System) obtained in the previous year, duly authenticated by Principal/Head of Institute.

The scholarship awardees may submit the above-mentioned documents latest by December 31 each year via Email on mail ID “attacheedu.kathmandu@mea.gov.in”. Further installments of the scholarship will be deposited in the bank a/c (opened by the Embassy in the name of scholarship awardee) only on receipt of requisite documents. If the documents are not received in the given time-frame, the scholarship will be terminated.
