The National Examination Board (NEB), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur has published
its academic calendar of Grade 11 and Grade 12 for the academic year
2083/2084.All the affiliated Secondary Schools are requested to follow
calendar.
As per the calendar, the board exam of Class 12 will be held in 1st Week
of Baisakh 2084 BS onwards, whereas Class 11 exam will be held from conducted
after the class 12 examination and will be completed by the end of Baisakh
2084 BS. The Class 12 Grade increment (Supplementary) examination will be
conducted in 1st Week of Shrawan 2084 BS onwards.
Similarly, the
results of Class 12 will be published by the 1st Week of Asar, 2084 BS and

How to Apply for Re-totaling of NEB Grade 12 Results 2083-2082 ? : Step-by-Step Procedure for Re-Totaling Application Process
Government of Nepal, National Examination Board (NEB), Examination Control
Office (Grade 11 and 12), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has published notice regarding
Class 12 Retotaling Applications following the publication of the Grade 12
examination results.
As per result, 418,170 students appeared for
the exam this year including both regular and partial students. When both
categories are combined, the overall grading rate stands at 64.13 percent.
35.87% did not pass (not graded).
Candidates who are dissatisfied with the grade obtained in any subject and wish to request a retotaling may apply online by paying a fee of NPR 1,000 per subject. Applications must be submitted through the Online Payment (Retotaling) service available on the National Examination Board's website (neb.gov.np) within 7 days from the date of result publication, i.e., from 11:00 AM on Ashadh 6, 2083, to 5:00 PM on Ashadh 12, 2083.

NEB Grade 12 Grade Increment ( Supplementary) Exam Notice 2082 (2025)
National Examination Board (NEB) has published revised notice (on 2082-05-31)
regarding Grade Increment (Supplementary Examination) for the students of
Grade 12 examination 2082. NEB has rescheduled the Grade Increment Examination
for Grade 12 on 7 Ashoj 2082 (Tuesday) and 8 Ashoj 2082 BS ( Wednesday).
Previously, the examination were scheduled to be held on 28 and 29 Bhadra 2082
BS.
The results of Grade 12 Examination was published on 4 August (19
Shrawan 2082) by NEB. According to the results published, 38.83 percent of
students received a non-grade or failed the exams, while 61.17 percent passed.
A total of 3,96,347 regular students appeared for the exams. Of these, 242,465
students passed.
Eligibility for Grade Increment Exam
Students who
participated in the Grade 12 annual examination held in Baisakh 2082 as
regular examinees (with the first two digits of their registration number
being 81), obtained a minimum grade of D or above in other subjects
theoretically and NG (N, ot Graded) in the remaining two subjects, OR obtained
a grade of D or above in other subjects theoretically and were absent in the
remaining two subjects, OR obtained a grade of D or above in other subjects
theoretical, are eligible to participate in the NEB Grade Increment
(supplementary) examination as per the routine below.

NEB opens exam application for Class 12 Regular and Partial Students 2081-2082
Government of Nepal, National Examination Board (NEB), Examination
Control Office (Class 11 and 12), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur has published revised notice
regarding filling up the Examination Application Form for Regular and Partial
Students of Grade 12
Candidates with registration numbers beginning
with 78 (Last Chance),79 and 80 from both Grade 11 and 12, who wish to participate in
the annual examination (Regular and Partial) of Grade 12 to be held in 2082 BS
must deposit examination fee of NPR 600 per student into the account of the concerned office of
the Board by 2081 Magh 15 (BS) and submit the examination application
form to the concerned office of the National Examination Board by 2081
Magh 30 (BS).
Eligibility Criteria for Class 12 Regular Examinees:
- For Regular Students: Must have received a minimum of D in theory and
C in internal assessment/practical in all subjects of Grade11, along with a
registration number beginning with 81. Along with the exam application form,
they must attach a certified Class 11 grade sheet from the school where they
were enrolled in 2081.
Partial Examinees
Partial examinees must fill in/submit their
application form from the same school where they filled out the form and
took the Grade 12 regular exam. If the form is found to be filled out
from any other school, that exam application form will be canceled.
Examination Centers:
Students (Regular and Partial)
are assigned specific centers for their exams, with no provision for
changes.
Fees:
- Examination Fee: NPR 600 per
student.
- Practical Exam Fee: NPR
75 per subject.
Students are required to complete the exam application form on their own. The school will arrange for the student's information to be entered online. To accomplish this, visit the Board's website at www.neb.gov.np or https://exam.neb.gov.np, click on Online Exam Form (Class 12), and then fill out the necessary information. Additionally, from 2081 Poush 15 (BS) to 2081 Magh 25 (BS), regular examinees will still be able to enter online. The online form entry must be finished by all schools within the allotted time.

NEB Extends Exam Application Deadline for Grade 11 and 12
The National Examinations Board (NEB) has published notice regarding
extension for the submission of registration applications for Grade 11 and 12
students for for Old Partial and Grade Improvement Examinees.
Under the letter grading system, students who were approved by their
respective schools or campuses but failed to secure grades in any subject due
to absence, disqualification, or failure (unable to secure at least a "D" and "E"
grade under the old grading system) must appear for the respective exams.
Eligibility:
- For Grade 12: Registration numbers starting
from 56 and less than 77.
- For Grade 11: Registration numbers starting
from 56 and less than 76.
Students who failed their exams or did not achieve the required grades in specific subjects must deposit the fee by Mangsir 27, 2081, and submit their application forms in the prescribed format set by the NEB by Poush 02, 2081.
The extended deadline for
submitting application forms is Poush 12, 2081 (January 3, 2025). All forms
must be submitted through the respective schools by 2081/09/19.

NEB Grade 11 and 12 Partial and Grade Improvement Exam Form Notice 2081 (2024)
National Examination Board (NEB) Examination Control Office, has notice
regarding allowing old partial and grade increment candidates of Class 11 and
12 to submit their examination application forms.
This notice is
for students who previously attended secondary schools or campuses associated
with Class 11 and 12 and who were either absent or failed a subject, or who
were unable to receive the necessary grades in the letter grading system
(those who received grades of 'D' or 'E' under the previous grading
system).
Candidates who want to take the exams must submit
application forms via their respective schools in the National Examination
Board-recommended format within 35 days of this notice's publication date,
which is Mangsir 27, 2081 BS.
It is required that schools and
campuses pick up the completed forms from their students and deliver them to
the appropriate National Examination Board offices by Poush 2, 2081 BS,
together with a print copy of the online entry and the payment voucher from
the bank or proof of digital payment.

NEB Grade 11 Registration Form Fill up Notice 2081-2082
The National Examination Board (NEB) has published a notice regarding the
submission process for Grade 11 registration forms 2081-2082.
As
per notice, students enrolled in Grade 11 for the academic year 2081/82 are
requested to submit their registration forms by Kartik 15, 2081 (October 31,
2024) by paying the standard registration fee of NPR 400. If students miss the
initial deadline, they can still submit their forms by Kartik 30, 2081
(November 15, 2024) by paying a double fee of NPR 800.
By Mangsir
7, 2081 (November 22, 2024), schools must make sure that all student
registrations are completed and that the necessary paperwork is sent to
NEB.

NEB Grade 12 Grade Increment (Supplementary) Exam Notice 2081 (2024)
National Examination Board (NEB) has published an urgent notice
regarding Grade Increment for the students of Grade 12 examination 2081. The
results for the grade 12 regular examinations were published on Friday, 2
August 2024 (18 Shrawan 2081). As per results, over 52 percent of the students
who sat for the exams passed and 47.09 percent of the students were
non-graded(fail).
Eligibility for Grade Increment Exam
Students who participated in the Grade 12 annual examination held in
Baisakh 2081 as regular examinees (with the first two digits of their
registration number being 80), obtained a minimum grade of D or above in other
subjects theoretically and NG (N, ot Graded) in the remaining two subjects, OR
obtained a grade of D or above in other subjects theoretically and were absent
in the remaining two subjects, OR obtained a grade of D or above in other
subjects theoretical, are eligible to participate in the NEB Grade
Increment (supplementary) examination as per the routine below.
Grade Increment Exam 2081Details:
- Grade increment examination date: 2081 Bhadra 25 and Bhadra 26.

- Application Form Fee: NPR 600 and 1200
for normal and late fee respectively
- Application Form Deadline: Bhadra
14, 2081 (with normal fee) and Bhadra 19, 2081 (with late fee)

- All subjects for
students appearing in only one subject
- For students taking two
subjects, choose the one with the smallest code number. Students taking both
Compulsory English (0041) and Compulsory Nepali (0021) must take the English
(0041) exam on the first day and the Nepali (0021) exam on the second day.

Aug 2: The National Examination Board (NEB), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has
announced the results for Class 12 examination. According to the NEB, over 52
percent of the students who sat for the exams passed and 47.09 percent of the
students were non-graded(fail).
Out of 390,868 students under regular category, 9591 students secured between 3.61 – 4.0 GPA while 46,893 students secured 3.21 – 3.60 GPA. Similarly, 78,075 secured 2.81-3.20 GPA whereas 61,036 students have secured 2.41 – 2.80 GPA. Likewise, 8,240 students secured between 2.10- 2.40 GPA, 12 students secured between 1.61 – 2.0 GPA. A total of 187,021 students failed to receive any grade and marked as Non-Graded (NG). They will be unable to pursue the undergraduate course. The non-graded students account for more than 47% of all examinees.

HOW TO CHECK GRADE 12 RESULTS 2080-2081 ?

1. via Websites
If you prefer to check your results online, NEB has made them available on the Nepal Telecom and NEB official websites. To view your results online:
Step 1: Visit the Nepal Telecom website at https://neb.ntc.net.np or NEB official websites at www.neb.gov.np or http://result.neb.gov.np
Step 2: Enter your examination symbol number and other necessary information.
Step 3: To view your results, click the submit button.
Step 4: You can download and print your Gradesheet or Marksheet from the website.
2. Via SMS
The SMS service provides a quick and simple way to receive your results directly to your mobile phone. Here is how you can use the SMS service.
Step 1: Launch the messaging app on your mobile device.
Step 2: Enter "NEB" followed by a space, then your exam symbol number.
Step 3: Send a message to 1600.
Step 4: You will receive an SMS containing your results, grades, and other pertinent information.
3. IVR System
Interactive Voice Response (IVR) is a simple method that allows students to view their results by dialing a number. Check the Class 12 examination results via IVR by following the steps below.:
Step 1: Call 1601 from any Nepal Telecom landline or cellphone.
Step 2: Enter your examination symbol number according to the voice instructions provided.
Step 3: Your outcome will be displayed audibly.
4. USSD
The USSD method is another effective way to check your results on your mobile phone. Individuals in areas with limited or no internet access can use USSD to get results quickly and easily. This method can be used as follows:
Step 1: On your Nepal Telecom mobile phone, dial *1600#
Step 2: Enter your examination symbol number according to the instructions on screen.
Step 3: Your results will appear on your mobile screen.
NEB Grad 12 Grading System
The NEB grading system is based on the Letter Grading Directive 2078, which specifies the criteria for passing and the corresponding grades. To pass the examination, students must score at least 35% on the theoretical portion of each subject. The grading system is intended to provide a complete assessment of a student's performance, with grades ranging from A+ to D.
The grading system below ensures that students are evaluated not only on their ability to recall information, but also on their comprehension and application of knowledge.
