Full Masters Scholarships from University of Groningen, Netherlands

The University of Groningen has a long academic tradition extending back to 1614, which makes Groningen the oldest university in the Netherlands after Leiden. Many very talented people in a variety of disciplines have studied or worked at the university during the 390 years of its existence, including a Nobel Prize winner, the first female University student in the Netherlands and the first female lecturer, the first Dutch astronaut and the first president of the European Bank. University of Groningen Talent Grant: Eric Bleumink Fund
University of Groningen offers scholarship,Eric Bleumink Fund, for a 1 year or 2 years Master’s degree programme which covers tuition fee, costs of international travel, subsistence, books, and health insurance.

Eligible candidates:    
Candidates for the Eric Bleumink Fund should:
> Have received provisional or unconditional admission for a master programme before February. Only then will applicants be considered for a grant from the Eric Bleumink Fund (see: Master's degree programmes )
> Have excellent academic performance, preferably to be confirmed by letters of recommendation
> Have excellent grades during their bachelor/undergraduate studies
> Have excellent English language proficiency, in accordance with the admission requirements of the program of choice
> Be available for the whole period of the programme and be able to take part in the entire programme
> Be in good health, so that health insurance in the Hold the nationality of a country appearing in Appendix 1.
> Have no other means of financing the study in question

Deadline:
It is not possible to actively apply for an Eric Bleumink Fund Scholarship. Suitable candidates will be informed about a nomination.

Application: (currently closed)
The University of Groningen Admission Office, in consultation with the Admission Boards of its faculties, will determine which applicants will be nominated for an Eric Bleumink Fund scholarship.

Only applicants that have received a (conditional) admission offer for a master programme before February can thus be considered. In order to allow for enough time to process the application to a master programme by the Admission Office, such a master application should be completed by the applicant before 1st of December.

World Citizen Talent Scholarship from The Hague University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands

The Hague University of Applied Sciences is a university of applied sciences and community higher professional education institute with its campuses located in and around The Hague in the Randstad metropolitan region in the southern Netherlands. The university offers World Citizen Talent Scholarship to prospective bachelor degree students.

About World Citizen Talent Scholarship Each year, three (one-time) scholarships each worth EUR 5,000 are available to prospective master students. We are seeking intelligent, talented and ambitious people who view themselves as citizens of the world.

Undergraduate

You are eligible to apply for one of these one-time scholarships if:
> Originate from outside the Netherlands and do not live in the Netherlands.
> Are enrolling in The Hague Graduate School for the first time.
> Have never applied for this scholarship before.
> Have been conditionally accepted to join your chosen programme on or before 31 March for the upcoming academic year.

We have appointed a committee to assess all essays. The judges will select the three students with the most impressive essays to receive the scholarship. The jury’s decision is binding and you will be informed about the results by email by 15 May.

Application Process
> Apply for the Master’s programme of your choice using the online application tool.
> Complete the following essay assignment.
> Submit your essay by emailing it to masters-admission@hhs.nl. Please mention your name and student number in the essay. Please mention WCTS and your student number in the email subject.

Excellence Scholarships for international students from Utrecht University, Netherlands

Scholarship Details
The Utrecht Excellence Scholarship (UES) is a highly selective programme meant for talented international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA = the EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) who seek to pursue a Master’s degree at Utrecht University.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible for an Utrecht Excellence Scholarship, you must
> Belong to the top 10% of your graduating class;
> Not hold an EU/EEA passport and not be eligible for support under the Dutch system of study grants and loans;
> Have completed your secondary school and/or Bachelor's degree outside the Netherlands;
> Have applied for an international Master’s programme with a start date of 1 September, 2023. Not all programes participate, please check UU masters
> Master’s program
> Tuition fees and financial support to see if the Utrecht Excellence Scholarship is mentioned as a scholarship opportunity.

SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT
The Utrecht Excellence scholarship can be awarded as:
> tuition fees
or
> tuition fees plus the required income linked to a residence permit for study as set by the Immigration and Naturalisation Service, for one year.

In a 2-years Master's programme the scholarship can be renewed for the second year.

NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS
The funds for the scholarships come from the Utrecht Excellence Scholarship Fund, established by Utrecht University and from contributions by Utrecht University alumni.

The University Twente Scholarship (UTS) is a scholarship for excellent students from both EU/EEA as well as non-EU/EEA countries, applying for a graduate programme (MSc) at the University of Twente.

UTS is not available for Dutch and/or current UT students. The UTS is not available for Master's programmes at the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC). The UTS is not available for the pre-Master programme.

High Potential scholarships from Maastricht University, Netherlands

Maastricht University High Potential scholarships
You must be admissible for a master’s programme or graduate programme for professionals  at Maastricht University and not be older than 35 years at the start of the academic year. You may apply simultaneously for a master's programme and this scholarship.Additional requirement for Psychology: you must be ranked in the top 5 % of your Bachelor’s programme (full programme). This must be proved by an official statement of the University.Please note that your scholarship application will not be taken into consideration without this top 5% statement.As an applicant you must have obtained excellent results in your previous studies. The Maastricht University (UM) Holland-High Potential Scholarship programme offers 24 full scholarships of €29.000 (including tuition fee waiver and monthly stipend) each academic year for highly talented students from outside the European Union (EU) who have been admitted to a Master’s programme at UM.

The Scholarship programme consists of both the High Potential Scholarship (funded by the Maastricht University Scholarship Fund), and the Holland Scholarship, which is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science in conjunction with Dutch universities and universities of applied sciences. It is aimed at international students from outside the EU/EEA who wish to follow a full degree programme in the Netherlands.

> For LLM Advanced Studies programmes, scholarships are only awarded for programmes starting on 1 September. You cannot be awarded a scholarship for Adv LLM studies starting on 1 Feb.
> It is not possible to combine the LExS with another scholarship financed by Leiden University.
> It is not possible to combine the LExS with another full scholarship from an external provider. Students are obliged to notify the scholarships department if they receive a full scholarship from another source.  In some circumstances, the LExS may be combined with a partial scholarship from an external provider. - students starting in February cannot apply,
- joint programmes where VU Amsterdam does not administer the admission process are excluded from VUFP.
> The degree with which you are seeking admission has not been obtained in the Netherlands.
> You do not need to complete a preparatory programme before the start of your Master.
> Diversity is one of our core values. That is why we encourage students from the countries listed here to apply for VUFP. Those countries are underrepresented on our campus (less than 10 students enrolled).

The VUFP scholarship can be granted for a one or two-year Master’s programme. The scholarship will only be extended for the second year of a two-year Master’s programme if 100% of the ECTS of the first year have been achieved. Students already enrolled in a two-year Master’s programme who have not been awarded the VUFP scholarship in 2022/2023 are not eligible to apply for the VUFP scholarship for 20223/2024.

Scholarships amounts
The VUFP scholarship covers the tuition fees only. It does not provide any additional allowance towards study or living costs, like rent, food, insurances. Be aware that you must be able to finance these living
