Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Examination Control Office in Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has published notice regarding entrance examination for new admissions in various Certificate and Diploma Level programs for the fully paid schemes for the academic year 2081/2082.
(a) For Entrance Exams Prior to Academic Qualifications:
Program: Certificate Level Nursing/ Midwifery
Required Minimum Academic Qualifications
- Minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in SLC/ SEE or equivalent in Mathematics, English, and Science subjects from a recognized educational institution or obtained equivalent grades in Technical SLC/ Pre-Diploma conducted by CTEVT.
Program: Other Full Programs beyond Certificate Level Nursing/ Midwifery
Required Minimum Academic Qualifications
- Minimum of 68.33% marks in aggregate in Technical SLC/ Pre-Diploma from a recognized educational institution or obtained equivalent grades.
(b) For Entrance Exams Post-Academic Qualifications:
Programs: For Health programs
- Required Minimum Academic Qualifications
Minimum 2.0 GPA out of 4.0 SEE/Equivalent examination with minimum 'C' grade in English, Mathematics, and Science or equivalent grades in Technical SLC/ Pre-Diploma conducted by CTEVT with a minimum of 68.33% marks in aggregate.
Programs: other than Health Programs
Required Minimum Academic Qualifications
- Minimum 1.6 GPA out of 4.0 in SEE/Equivalent examination with minimum 'C' grade in English, Mathematics, and Science or equivalent grades in Technical SLC/ Pre-Diploma conducted by CTEVT with a minimum of 68.33% marks in aggregate.
Entrance Examination
> The entrance examination for full-fee paying and scholarship categories will be based on the syllabus of the SEE/Technical SLC exam with a total of 100 marks comprising multiple-choice questions. The examination will be of 2 hours duration.
> The exam will include questions in English-10, Mathematics-25, and Science-25.
> Candidates must bring their admit card to the examination center.
> The examination will be conducted in an OMR sheet format.
> The entrance examination for health, pharmacy, and lab technology programs will be conducted using OMR machines for answer checking.
Documents to be Submitted with the Application
> Two recent passport-size photographs (35mm x 45mm) with the candidate's name and the program they wish to study written clearly on the back of the photographs.
> A copy of the SEE/SLC or Technical SLC (Pre-Diploma)/Equivalent exam marksheet and academic transcripts.
> A copy of the citizenship certificate or any official identification document issued by the Government of Nepal.
> A copy of the recommendation letter from the concerned authority for the full-fee reserved quota.
> The entrance examination fee should be deposited as per the guidelines in the "Entrance Examination Conduct, Scholarship Distribution, and Admission Guidelines 2081."
