Understanding Your SEE Result: Grading System
The Letter Grading system in Nepal uses A+, A, B+, B, C+, C, D+, D and NG as its categories to evaluate a student, using A+ as the highest grade, and D as the lowest passing grade. The government revised the Letter Grading Guideline, 2078 BS to include only those who score 35 in theory and 40 in practical. According to the guideline, if you get less than 35 marks in any subject, you will be written NG (Non Graded) and you will not be able to proceed to Grade 11 and the students with the result of writing NG will not get the original certificate.
