In order to complete the application, applicants are required to pay the application fee of NRs. 1,500/- (non-refundable) to Nepal Investment Bank Limited, NC no.: 00501030255547, Account Name: Kathmandu University School of Engineering; and submit copies of certificates/transcripts, copies of other documents and photographs as mentioned in the application form checklist by the deadline, to the concerned department, and get the admission test/interview date.

Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works such as bridges, roads, canals, dams and buildings. Civil engineering is the oldest engineering discipline after military engineering, and it was defined to distinguish non-military engineering from military engineering.

The duration of the course is four years with eight semesters, each of six months duration. The odd and even semesters start from August and February respectively.
