The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT),
Examination Control Office, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has issued a notice for the
application process for the Special Scholarship Program in Technical Education
entrance examination. This program provides free study opportunities for the
Dalit, Muslim, Disadvantaged, and Marginalized communities at the pre-diploma
and diploma/certificate levels.
The marginalised community includes 22 deprived indigenous groups recognized by the Government of Nepal, such as Bankariya, Baram, Bote, Chepang, Danuwar, Dhanuk, Hayu, Jhagad, Kisan, Kusunda, Lepcha, Majhi, Meche, Kuswadia, Raji, Raute, Satar, Sinsa (Lhomi), Siyar, Surel, Thami, and Thunam, as well as Haliya and Kamaiya.
Total seats for the scholarship: 360 ( 324 for Diploma/Certificate and 36 for Pre-diploma)

Minimum Educational Requirements:
For Diploma/Certificate Level
A) For Candidates with Academic Qualifications in the Percentage Grading System
1. Diploma/Certificate Level Program
Minimum Educational Qualification
SLC or equivalent from a recognized educational institution with compulsory subjects Mathematics, English, and Science, with at least second division or a minimum of 45% aggregate marks; or passed Technical SLC/Pre-Diploma level in a related subject of an ongoing program with a minimum aggregate score of 68.33%.
B) For Candidates with Academic Qualifications in the Letter Grading System
1. For Diploma/Certificate Level General Medicine & Medical Lab Technology Programs
Minimum Educational Qualification
SEE/entrance examination from a recognized educational institution with compulsory English, Mathematics, and Science subjects, securing a minimum GPA of 2.0 or equivalent, OR passed a relevant technical ANM/Lab/Pre-Diploma with a minimum aggregate of 66.33% marks.
For Pre-Diploma and an 18-month program
- For Candidates with Academic Qualifications in the Percentage Grading System: Must have passed the SLC or equivalent examination from a recognized educational institution.
- For Candidates with Academic Qualifications in the Letter Grading System: All students who have appeared in all subjects of the SEE examination and obtained 'Non Graded (NG) in the results are also eligible to participate in this level program.
