Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published list of holiday for the year 2082 B.S. for Bank and Financial Institutions. As per NRB, banking sector employees will get 47 days of leave in 2082 BS.
Out of the total holidays, 32 days of leave have been fixed. The remaining 5 days of leave have been arranged to be on the days specified by the government. The days of Matsyendranath's Bhoto Dahnene Jatra, Eid ul Fitr, Bakr Eid, Suruba Pavani, Mohammad Jayanti and Guru Nanak Jayanti have not been fixed.
This year, 6 days of leave have been fixed for Dashain and 5 days for Tihar.
The NRB bank holiday notice follows the government’s decision to open essential service-providing institutions and organisations including banks on certain public holidays announced by the government.
