Government of Nepal, Ministry of Home Affairs, Nepal
Police Headquarters, Human Resource Development Department, Career Development
Division, Recruitment and Selection Branch, Naxal, Kathmandu, invites
application from eligible Nepali citizens through open competition for the
variious vacant positions under the technical police group and its sub-groups
as per the inclusive provisions.

1. Technical Police Inspector
- Application
Fee: NPR 1,200; Additional Group Fee: NPR 240 per extra group
- Age Limit
Range: 20–32 years
2. Technical Police Sub-Inspector

Application Fee: NPR 700; Additional Group Fee: NPR 140 per extra group

Age Limit Range:18–30 years
3. Technical Police Assistant Sub-Inspector
- Application Fee: NPR 500; Additional Group Fee: NPR 100 per extra
group
- Age Limit Range:18–28 years
Note: For open competition
applicants currently serving in Nepal Police (non-gazetted), the upper age
limit is 35 years, provided basic police training has been completed.
Exam Stages:
- Preliminary and detailed health examination
- Written exam
(conducted by PSC; multiple-choice questions carry 20% negative marking)

Required Documents to Upload:
- Nepali
citizenship certificate
- Recent photo showing full face and ears, as per
ORMS format (males must be clean-shaven)
- Educational certificates
(character, provisional, transcript, equivalency if applicable)
- For
martyrs/injured police family: relationship verification documents
- For
Janajati, Madhesi, Dalit, or backward regions: legal proof and certified
documents as per guidelines
- All documents must be scanned and uploaded
in PDF format
- Photo, signature, thumbprint, and both sides of
citizenship must be uploaded in JPG format
