Government of Nepal, Ministry of Home Affairs, Nepal Police Headquarters (Human Resource Development Department, Recruitment Selection Section), Naxal, Kathmandu, invites application from eligible candidates for the position of Election Police (Myadi Prahari)
Since election police must be hired in compliance with the authorized "Integrated Procedure on Recruitment Selection, Appointment and Mobilization of Election Police (Nepal Police and Armed Police Force, Nepal) Procedure-2082" for the election of House of Representatives members, eligible Nepali citizens who fulfill the requirements listed below are encouraged to apply in person.
Post: Election Police (Myadi Prahari)
- Required Number: 133,980 (one hundred thirty-three thousand nine hundred eighty) persons
Places to Obtain and Submit Application Forms:
- District Police Range Offices: Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur
- District Police Offices: All districts
Key Details:
- Age Limit: By the final date of application registration, the applicant should have completed 18 years and should not exceed 54 years.
- Date of Birth Range: From 2028/10/01 to 2064/10/01
Selection Schedule
- Selection Start Dates: From 2082/10/05 to 2082/10/09
- Final Result Publication Date: 2082/10/12
- Training Start Dates: From 2082/10/15 to 2082/10/24 (including public holidays)
Application Submission Dates:
From 2082/09/25 ( 9 January 2026) to 2082/10/01 ( 15 January 2026); Application Time: 10:00 to 16:00 (including public holidays)
