> Agricultural Development Bank (ADBL) announces vacancy for variety
of VITA positions
With the main objective of providing institutional credit for enhancing
the production and productivity of the agricultural sector in the country, the
Agricultural Development Bank, Nepal was established in 1968 under the ADBN
Act 1967, as successor to the cooperative Bank.
Value Chains for
Inclusive Transformation of Agriculture Program (VITA )is executed by
Agricultural Development Bank Ltd (ADBL) as a lead program agency under the
grant support of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
The Project is being implemented in Bagmati, Lumbini, and Madesh Province
covering 28 districts to improve the livelihoods and nutrition status of poor
and vulnerable people. In addition to this, the project aims to establish
agriculture farm enterprises by increasing agricultural production and
strengthening market linkages and access to rural financial services. The
project has been identified as high high-priority program by the Government of
Nepal by allocating funds through its current annual budget and program.
