CMAT is central management aptitude Entrance test taken by Tribhuvan University. Every applicant of BBA/ BIM/ BHM/ BTTM / BBM/ BMS/ BPA/ BBA-Finance Programme is required to appear in the Entrance Test (CMAT) conducted by Faculty of Management, TU. The test follows the standard testing pattern and includes areas like Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning and General Awareness.

MODE OF EXAMINATION
The CMAT entrance exam consists of both written exam and interview. The 90 minutes CMAT exam consists of altogether one hundred (100) objective questions containing twenty-five (25) questions in each section (Verbal Ability , Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning and General Awareness) with a total weight of 100 marks. The students must secure at least 40% to qualify for the examinations.

The colleges running the program also conduct the individual presentations and interviews for selecting suitable candidates. Applicants securing above cut off point marks in the CMAT will be short-listed. Then the shortlisted candidates will be interviewed and selected for admission.

Merit List
Admissions will be strictly on the basis of merit list. The merit list is prepared on the basis of
CMAT for BBA / BIM / BBM / BPA / BBA-F
- 60% of marks secured in the CMAT Entrance examination;
- 30% of marks secured in percentage in plus two or equivalent;
- 10% Interview.

KUUMAT Stands for Kathmandu University Undergraduate Management Admission Test. KUUMAT is designed as an eligibility test for admission into KU’s undergraduate management programs and is a compulsory requirement for applying to get admission.

KU’s undergraduate management programs( BBA, BBIS, BBA (Hons)/BBA (Emphasis) and BHTM are four-year intensive academic programs spread over eight semesters of full time study.

ELIGIBILITY
Nepali and non Nepali nationals with Plus two degrees or intermediate or equivalent level study program of at least two-years' duration in any discipline with minimum of 50 percent in aggregate or CGPA of 2.0 on the scale of 4.0 and minimum 'C' grade in each subject from a university/board recognized by Kathmandu University. GCE advanced Level student should have passed minimum three subjects in A Level and one general paper in AS Level with marks/grades requirements as mentioned above.
