Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has announced the number of students who
have received scholarships from institutional schools in the city.
According
to the KMC, 473 institutional schools have submitted details for providing
scholarships to 18 thousand 422 students in grades up to ten. The Newspaper
National daily, Gorkhapatra published the same list.
There is a
rule that schools must provide at least a 10% scholarship for students
studying up to class 10. However, after it was discovered that some people did
not follow the rule, the Metropolitan Corporation attempted to enforce it.
Below is a list of schools with the number of students and seats reserved for scholarships:
